Durpin or Zang Dong Palri monastery is one of the most important spiritual centres of Buddhism having some of the rare manuscripts of Tibetan spiritual literature. Thongsa Gompa is another important monastery that you must visit in Kalimpong with our North East Tour Packages. It is the oldest in Kalimpong and came into existence way back in 1692 AD.
